We had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Aherlow House Hotel in August 2024, and we can honestly say it was the best decision we made for our special day. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking views in every direction, offering a stunning backdrop that made our wedding day truly magical.
Before we even booked the venue, we stayed at Aherlow for a night away shortly after getting engaged. We arrived late that evening, so we had no idea what to expect when we woke up the next morning. To our delight, we were greeted by spectacular views that took our breath away, and it was then that we knew this was where we wanted to get married.

We first contacted Eve, who helped us secure our wedding date for August 2024, and soon after, we began working closely with Liam. Liam was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and we truly appreciated how easy it was to communicate with him. He guided us through every detail of the planning process, and his expertise made everything run smoothly.
The venue itself was perfect for our big day – the setting, the service, and the staff were all exceptional. As the guests stepped into the wedding venue, they were immediately captivated by its charm and elegance. It was a place none of them had ever been before, yet it felt instantly welcoming. The grand entrance, with its stunning architecture and soft lighting, set the perfect tone for the evening. The spacious ballroom, adorned with beautiful arrangements, had a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere that made everyone feel at ease. Our two daughters were a main focus for us on the day. Aherlow provided a designated space for them to run around safely, allowing us to enjoy the reception knowing they were happy and cared for. It truly made the day more relaxed and memorable for everyone.
The food at the wedding venue was outstanding, with every dish bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. From the delicate appetizers to the main course, each bite was a delightful experience. Each dish left guests raving long after the celebration ended. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary experience that elevated the entire event. The attentive staff made sure every detail was perfect, and the breathtaking views of the Galtee mountains from the terrace and the Mountain view room added an extra layer of magic to the occasion. By the end of the night, every guest was raving about the venue, eager to return for future celebrations.
